Magazine Content: The Images

I need to plan a set of original images for the covers and contents pages of the first two editions of my fashion magazine, as well as images to be used on the accompanying website.

First Edition:

Cover:

The main image on the cover of the first edition of my fashion magazine will be of Emma Symon in an urban part of Bristol, the place where she lives. Whilst I obviously have specific shots planned, I hope to get a candid image of Symon to use on the cover as it will reflect her character and be fun and engaging, which is the focus of the content.

Contents Page:

The contents page of the first edition of my fashion magazine will include the main image from the cover as an 'On the Cover' feature, referencing what is shown to be the main focus of the edition and giving readers an insight into what is actually in the image.

In addition, other images from the same photo shoot with the same subject in the same location will be included. Seeing as I plan on the cover image of the first edition of my fashion magazine only including Symon's face, I would like the image of the subject on the contents page to be full length so there is some variety and her fashion is shown.

Second Edition:

Cover: Matthew Catheline will model for the cover of the second edition of my fashion magazine. Given the fact the focus is more on his clothes than him, a posed shot showing his outfit is the goal. The concept surrounds summer sports so he will have a relevant prop, perhaps a cricket bat.

Contents Page:

Similarly to the first edition of my fashion magazine, the main image from the cover will feature on the contents page in an 'On the Cover' section.

Also, there will be an image with the other model from the shoot with Catheline, Oliver Cook, on the contents page. The pair will stand together looking directly at the camera to entice the reader to find the feature and show off that they are wearing.

Website:

The images on the website accompanying my fashion magazine will be related to both the first and second edition. Due to the fact it is constant, there will also be images that are independent, relevant only to the features on the website.

The content relating to Symon on the website accompanying my fashion magazine will mainly be from a later shoot when her vlog is filmed. In addition though, alternative shots from the original shoot will be included.

The images on the website linked to the second edition of my fashion magazine will be crucial as at the time the website is showcased, the second edition will be the current edition. Different images from the same shoot will be included, most likely more casual shots.
